Legislative Approves KUA PPAS 2024 by Rp 81.58 Trillion 

The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Budget Committee (Banggar) and the Jakarta Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD), agreed on the draft City Budget (APBD) for the 2024 Budget Priorities and Ceiling (KUA-PPAS) amounting to Rp 81.5 trillion.

This decision was made in the DPRD plenary meeting which took place on Tuesday (9/12) night.

Jakarta DPRD's Banggar Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi knocked the gavel after asking for approval from the Banggar members who attended the plenary meeting. He also asked Jakarta TAPD to prepare a budget and plan a comprehensive program for the next year.

"I would like to thank the executive for the explanation and the members of the budget body who have provided responses and input. By so, we decide to approve the 2024 KUA-PPAS in the amount of Rp 81.58 trillion," he expressed, in the meeting.

The decision above recieved appreciation from Jakarta TAPD Chairman, Joko Agus Setyono.

"The results of this determination are followed by the signing of the Banggar decision dossier," he said.

Separetely, Jakarta Regional Financial and Budget Management Agency (BPKAD) Head, Michael Rolandi Cesnanta Brata uttered the preparation of the 2024 KUA-PPAS amounting to Rp 81.58 trillion is a realistic APBD posture.

"This is adjusted to the realization that happened in the previous year," he explained.

His party had also communicated with the Finance Ministry regarding regional loans to PT SMI worth Rp 1 trillion.

It was because according to applicable regulations, the medium and long-term regional loans should first have DPRD approval.

"The Jakarta Provincial Government is simultaneously proposing 2024 KUA-PPAS and asking for council approval regarding regional loans that will be used to finance the RDF Plant," he stated.
